Returns and Refund Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy describes Tecline Industries' intended approach to returns. It is a default draft and must be reviewed against the actual products, seller identity, supplier arrangements and Australian Consumer Law before launch.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns
Tecline does not currently offer change-of-mind returns. This applies where a customer selected the wrong size or product, changed their mind, or no longer wants an item, provided the product supplied is otherwise as described and not faulty. It does not apply where Tecline supplied a different product from the one ordered.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
2. Faulty, Unsafe, Damaged, Misdescribed or Incorrectly Supplied Products
If a product is faulty, unsafe, does not match its description, or is otherwise covered by a consumer guarantee, contact Tecline through the Contact page with the order number and a description of the issue. Photos may help but are not a condition of a consumer's rights.
The business may assess the product. The available remedy depends on the facts and applicable law:
- For a major failure, the consumer may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement.
- For a minor failure, the business may first offer a free repair. If the problem is not fixed within a reasonable time, other remedies may be available.
A consumer is not required to accept store credit instead of a remedy to which they are legally entitled.
3. Custom-Made and Personalised Products
A change-of-mind policy may differ for a custom-made or personalised product, but customisation does not remove applicable consumer guarantees. The actual product terms must be shown before any such product is offered for sale.
4. Reporting an Issue
Use the Contact page and include the order number and relevant details. The current form records an enquiry in the website application; it does not send email and no response timeframe is configured. Do not send a product back until return instructions are confirmed, except where the law requires otherwise.
5. Refund Processing
Where a refund is legally due, it should be provided in the form required by law; for a consumer-guarantee refund, this is generally the same form as the original payment unless the consumer agrees otherwise. Actual processing times depend on the payment provider. Tecline must confirm its operational refund process before launch.
6. Return Shipping
Responsibility for reasonable return costs depends on the product, issue and applicable law. Where Australian Consumer Law requires Tecline to reimburse reasonable costs for returning a faulty product, this policy does not limit that obligation. Actual return instructions and any prepaid label process have not been verified.
7. Contact Us
For returns, refunds or product concerns, use the website's Contact page. No verified support email or response timeframe has been supplied.
